Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy – Gentle, Holistic Healing for Mind and Body

What Is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on technique that enhances the body’s natural healing abilities. At Patients Medical, we use CST to relieve stress, reduce pain, and support whole-body wellness—especially for patients with chronic conditions that have not responded to conventional treatments.
CST is based on the concept that subtle movements in cranial bones and cerebrospinal fluid affect overall health. By applying just 5 grams of pressure to the skull, spine, and sacrum, our practitioners release tension in the central nervous system to restore balance and function.

Conditions Treated

What to Expect

Each session lasts 45–60 minutes. Patients remain clothed and lie comfortably while the practitioner gently palpates and adjusts tension points in the craniosacral system. Many people report deep relaxation, emotional release, or a subtle sense of movement and warmth.

Is It Safe?

CST is safe for most people, including children. However, it’s not recommended for patients with:

  • Recent traumatic brain injury
  • Cerebral aneurysm
  • Acute stroke
  • Severe bleeding disorders
